Yes! Our search is free for everyone. Browse shows, see cast and crew, discover similar shows, and check if something's been cancelled before signing up.
You don't move shows manually, it's done for you. Simply mark off the seasons you have watched and the show will automatically move itself to the appropriate section - this way you know instantly if the show is returning, completed, or worse cancelled!
That's right! Newly added shows will always start in the "Ready to Watch" section because you haven't marked any seasons as watched yet.
TV show data comes from TMDB (The Movie Database), which typically shows air dates for the show's origin country. This means a US show will show US air dates even if you're viewing from the UK, where it might air weeks later or have different release patterns on streaming platforms. When we identify these issues, we apply data corrections to show accurate dates for your region. If you notice incorrect dates, please contact us at support@watchlistbuddy.com with the show name and details - we're working on a dedicated data correction form to make this easier!
"Ready to watch" means new episodes are available (even if the show is airing weekly). "Ready to binge" means the full season is complete, so you can watch it all in one go without waiting.
Yes! You can share any show using the share button on each show page. Or you can share some (or all) of your watchlist using the selection mode feature - no personal data is shared, just a list of the shows you choose to share.
We only support UK streaming providers at the moment, so if a show isn't available in the UK, it won't show up in search results. We're working on adding more regions in the future!
Not at the moment. Our focus is currently on TV shows, but we're considering adding movies in the future.
The app is completely free to use while we're in alpha and beta. When we launch the premium plan, basic features will remain free but some advanced features may require a small annual fee.
No - but you can install the web app to your home screen for a native-like experience. Just open the site in Safari or Chrome, tap the share button, then 'Add to Home Screen'.

Absolutely. We take your privacy seriously and never share your data with third parties. All personal information is stored securely and used only to provide and improve our service.
Yes, you can delete your account at any time through the account settings page. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers. Once deleted, this action cannot be undone.
No, your email address is your account - we do not currently support changing it. If you need to use a different email, you will need to create a new account. You can raise a support request at support@watchlistbuddy.com and we may be able to assist migrating the list across but it is not guaranteed.
